Hayward Piecemakers Quilting Guild
The Hayward Wisconsin Piecemakers Quilting Guild is a non-profit organization. Our goal is to promote the art and education of quilting in our area.
The Piecemakers have supported local schools with donations and assistance for educating school children in the history, and making of quilts which have been donated to hospitals for babies, lap quilts for local nursing home residents, and quilts for the Elizabeth House operated by the Salvation Army, and the Quilts of Valor program for injured soldiers.
The Piecemakers have also given donations to other local non-profit organizations, both in funds and quilts for raffling. Recently the Piecemakers donated 37 new quilting books to the Sherman and Ruth Weiss Library in Hayward WI.
Funds needed for the donations are raised at the yearly quilt show held in Hayward WI. For more information on the show mail a self stamped envelope to Hayward Piecemakers, PO Box 614, Hayward, WI 54843.
