Quilting Classes

Beginning to advanced machine quilting classes. Private and group. Lessons are customized to the needs of the individual or group.

Wholecloth design. Design an original wholecloth that you can hand quilt, or machine quilt.

Traditional Trapunto, Colored Trapunto or Shadow Trapunto. This project is about 18 inches square. You are learning a technique.

Fiber Layering. You are learning my technique for creating a small art quilt. This will be made with batiks, fibers, felt, silk leaves or flowers, ribbons, angelina, and embellishments. It's a very fun project.

Embellishing your quilt. Do you have a quilt that needs something more? This is a great class for learning where to put all of those neat beads and crystals you may have collected.

Quilted Postcards. This class will have you leaving with at least one finished postcard that is ready to mail. You will learn my quilting techniques for layering.

I am also available for Trunk Shows.

My favorite quilt show in the Duluth MN area and best place for classes from famous quilters. Show is organized by Helen Smith Stone from Duluth MN.
My favorite quilt shop in the northwoods of WI. Owner Gail Grassel is fabulous and always has neat quilty stuff. Check out her new website and online ordering. If you get to visit the shop, check out all the fun samples that I've quilted for her.
My favorite quilters chat group. This is a great longarm quilters support group.
