Granma's Workshop

If you have an idea for quilting or a technique, I am always willing to try something new. I am also able to copy most techniques if you have a picture, stencil, or drawing. That is where I feel most of the design fun is, not doing the same thing every time.

In 2004, I was fortunate enough to be awarded the International Machine Quilters Association grant. I spent it wisely on a private class with Karen McTavish at her home in Duluth MN. I learned how do design and quilt whitework quilts. The example on this page is my first student piece. I am now totally in love with this trapunto method. And I am able to design a wonderful trapunto heirloom for my customers.
